The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services announced the awarding of $15.8 million in federal Medicaid matching funds to six states to implement the electronic health record incentive programs established by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
The EHR funds will go to Georgia, California, New York, Montana, Idaho and Texas. ARRA provides a 90% federal match to help states administer the incentive payments to hospitals and other providers.
